The New Testament inverts Aristotle's paradigm, revealing that divine love precedes human love. God, in His infinite mercy, loved us first. "We love because He first loved us" (1 John 4:19). This truth lies at the heart of the Christmas message. Advent, often referred to as "mini-Lent," is a season of reflection and preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a time to examine our lives, repent of our sins, and renew our commitment to God. Just as Lent is a time for fasting and prayer, Advent is a time to focus on good habits and spiritual practices.
